Privacy policy
FLOGVIT is run by Vegard Hanssen. The service can be used without an account and without anything being stored about you with us. This page explains what is stored when you choose to use an account and FLOGVIT.plus.
Storage on your device
Game progress (boards in progress, solved puzzles, streak, settings) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to us as long as you are not logged in. We use no tracking or analytics tools and no third-party cookies for tracking. Logged-in users get a necessary session cookie, and settings (theme/language) are stored in a preference cookie (fv-prefs).
What we store with an account
- Email address, display name and a cryptographically hashed password (scrypt) — never the password in plain text.
- With FLOGVIT.plus: solving statistics and favourites (which puzzles you have solved, time, date), so your progress can follow you between devices.
- Subscription status from the payment provider (see below).
We send email only for account confirmation, password reset and receipts for FLOGVIT.plus activation. Sending is done via Scaleway Transactional Email in the EU (Paris region). No newsletters, no sharing of your address.
Payment
FLOGVIT.plus is paid through Paddle, which is the merchant of record and controller for the payment itself. Card data and billing details are stored with Paddle — never with us. We only receive subscription status and a customer/subscription reference. See Paddle's own privacy policy at paddle.com.
Your rights
You can view and change your account information at any time on the account page, and delete the account with all associated progress there ("Delete account"). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. For access, correction or other requests: Vegard.Hanssen@menneske.no.
